About Pretty Fire Productions
Pretty Fire was founded by Kate Lyons and Nicole Alcee after forming a wonderful friendship during their careers at BBC Radio London.
“We are passionate about audio content and championing diversity in all its forms within radio as we have been on the journey ourselves and know the under representation and the importance in hearing from all voices, young and old.”
Kate has a vast array of experience, working her way up from phone answerer on phone in shows to producing the mid-morning show with Vanessa Feltz securing a Sony Gold and various other nominations over her 18-year career to date. Other highlights include producing live broadcasts for The Queens Jubilee, The Royal Wedding, Election Specials, The Tottenham Riots, Wimbledon plus many, many more events. Most recently she has worked on the award nominated podcast with Jo Good – Dogs in the City and the successful Gaby’s Talking Pictures for Radio 4 hosted by Gaby Roslin.
Nicole has been a partner in a media talent agency for the past 6 years, working with talent including Trisha Goddard, Judi Love, Stevo The Madman, Yung Filly and Jamie O’Hara to help cast various shows and improve diversity within all media platforms. She has worked with shows including I’m A Celeb, Dancing on Ice, Don’t Hate The Playaz, This Morning, Loose Women and The Big Narstie Show to name a few plus various brand online campaigns including, Facebook Disney, NFL, Diageo, KFC, JD Sports and BooHoo. She’s also helped provide various talent for podcasts and emerging radio talents
on various BBC stations.
Together as Pretty Fire they have created audio based content for West Ham Foundation, Acast, Enhance The UK, BBC, Aviva and an upcoming series on Amazon.
They’ve worked with talent including Ray Winstone, Russell Brand, Dr Larisa Corda, Sam Renke, Lisa Maffia and Barrister – Paula Rhône Adrien.
